USA National Miss South Carolina Teen 2016, Kennedy Wheeler is currently studying marketing as a junior at Greenville Technical College. While in high school at Greer Middle College, she was a member of the national Beta Club. She was also awarded Miss Junior, Miss Senior, Miss Photogenic, and Peoples Choice in her high school pageants, as well as voted yearbook editor.
She was also chosen, out of 100 senior classmates, for an internship in which she interned for Community Works, an Upstate non-profit which focuses its efforts on supporting affordable housing and community development.

She is on youth staff at Praise Cathedral Church of God and has been on several missions trips, including working in homeless shelters in New York and New Jersey.

Kennedy also received, The Spirit Award from Pageantry Magazine, for her sportsmanlike conduct during the pageant weekend. She was awarded the 2nd runner-up at the USA National Miss pageant last July. She is also the reigning International Junior Miss South Carolina 2016.
